We arrived at 3:55 and there were no rooms ready. We went back 3 times before a king room was available. The room that we got was not the room we paid for, we booked a king suite and were given a regular king room. Apparently we weren’t the only people that had to wait so long to get a room. I did like the casino - lots of fun games to play!

Reservations don't help

Reserved a handicap accessible with a roll in shower and when we got to our room there was no roll in shower as advertised. I called the front desk and they said they fave all the handicap roll in shower rooms away. I specifically reserved one why did you give it away? Whatvis thevpoint of reservations if they are going to give the room away.

The hotel is called the Mardi Gras.There is absolutely nothing related to new orleans in this hotel. The rooms smell and this is not the first time we've stayed there. The breakfast options are absolutely terrible. The casino is not exactly a winner's environment e heard absolutely nobody cheering or happy or anything like that about winning.

The casino is wonderfully intimate and the games are fun and pay out enough to keep it entertaining. We bet on our first greyhound race and it was fast and fun (very similar to horses.) The drinks were good and affordable. The food at the French Quarter was fabulous. My only complaints were with the hotel. It was clean and beautiful but there was construction going on and the walls are not thick. I'd love to have better lunch options for food and breakfast (sit down), but am being picky. We'll def be back.

Good food at French quarter but get your steak at least medium if you get the 2 for 60 special. Rare and medium rare were not hot. Also do not order more food than that. It's not a pricey restaurant. The portions are huge!
