Welcome to our 1700 square foot timber- frame cabin tucked into a hillside and nestled under tall pines. It is just waiting for families and friends to come together and explore the 3 ½ wooded acres. This is where you will find respite from the grind of everyday life, and recharge your battery in the realm of nature.
Our cabin is sure to provide a living experience. You will delight in the rich natural setting which promotes outdoor activities. It is your antidote to a stressful lifestyle. You will love frequent sightings of animals that are at home around the cabin; white-tail deer, raccoons, squirrels, woodpeckers, and an occasional eagle.
This three story home (upstairs, main level, lower level) sleeps 4 adults and 4 children. The rich interior is composed of knotty pine walls, yellow pine floors and exposed fir beam ceilings. Our cabin has been professionally decorated to provide the utmost in comfort and style for your family and friends. It is equipped with all the conveniences to make you feel right at home.
On the main floor the quaint kitchen has a microwave, refrigerator, new dishwasher, and new gas range. The countertop is leathered granite. A peninsula provides a convenient serving place for the dining room or deck.
The dining area has a table to seat 8 and an oversized rustic-contemporary chandelier. You will have views out into nature through the oversized windows and sliding glass doors to deck.
Windows wrap the living and dining areas connecting the indoors to nature.
In the living room, gather around the circular coffee table for games or Happy Hour. The brick wood- burning fireplace adds to the cozy cabin ambience while you relax on the new leather reclining sofa. A 58” TV is mounted on the adjacent wall. Gaze out the windows in all directions for views of the lush greenery.
After a day of adventure relax in the oversized tub located in the main floor spa-like bathroom. This newly renovated space also has a vanity with granite top, and nature inspired décor. The central window invites views to the woods beyond.
Enjoy the new main-level deck off the front and south side of the house, which provides plenty of space to enjoy the fresh air. The picnic table will seat 8-10.
Walk upstairs and view the vaulted ceilings with exposed rafters that give character and spatial variety to the two bedrooms, bathroom and loft. Look out the windows for amazing treetop views.
The master bedroom contains a king-size bed, tall dresser, night stand and walk- in closet . An AC unit has been recently added.
The guest bedroom has a king-size bed, dresser, and nightstand.
In the upstairs bathroom you will find a tub/shower, double sink vanity, and open shelves for towels.
The loft area is open to the stairway, creating a larger and light-filled spatial experience. It has windows facing the lake, a sofa and oversized chair. Relax and look out the windows, read, or take a nap.
Wake up to the morning sun as two central skylights spread rays into the loft and bedrooms. These rooms are open at the high vaulted ceiling level, as typical of cabins, to promote light and air flow.
Walk downstairs to the lower level and enter the Kids’ Room. This area is separate from the upstairs main living areas. Decorated in lively primary colors, this distinct space is sure to delight the younger set. Two bunk beds, a TV, and large bean bag chairs provide a bit of fun. Plenty of and toys and games are provided.
Also on the lower level is a laundry room, bathroom with shower, and an external door to a quaint patio.
The fire pit area will provide lasting memories while roasting marshmallows and telling stories.
Explore 3 ½ acres of woods. Mature pines, oaks, and maples create a forest canopy experience, great for taking a hike, nature photography, birding, or a leisurely rest under a tree.
During your stay, plan to take advantage of the excellent kayaking, boating, fishing, and swimming opportunities on nearby Conesus Lake.
Bring your boat or rent a boat at a local marina. You are all set to enjoy the water!
Letchworth State Park is a hikers paradise!
Additionally, visit the breweries and wineries in the area. Local restaurants are plentiful as well.
