I’m sure this place was nice 20 years ago but it’s so run down now. I wouldn't stay here again. We got the room with jacuzzi tub and there were “body” hairs all in the tub dead lady bugs everywhere and the outlet in the closet wasn’t even attached to the wall. The room is big and spread out into 4 little rooms and only the bedroom has heat so unless you turned it on 75-80 the rest of the room was freezing and then you were sweating in the bedroom. Walls and floors are thin we were woken up both mornings at 7 by someone running around upstairs. It was a decent deal to be able to walk to the main strip of gatlinburg but it’s up a huge hill that i only climbed once and then we drove the rest of the trip

If you are looking for a romantic getaway do not choose this place! Very misleading about a fire place. There was not a true fireplace in our room it was electric. I could have turned my TV on in my bedroom at home to a fireplace on YouTube and got the same experience. There were two adjoining rooms, one of them had a very large gap under the door where you could see light from the other room. The same was for the entry door, light shined through all night. The bed was very uncomfortable and my husband and I both woke up with sore backs. I would never stay at this location again.

It's an older property, which definitely adds to the charm! It's away from the fuss & buss of the city below...it's quiet & relaxing with breathtaking views! We really liked it. There ARE bears up there. We had one visit the back on our first day there.

they over booked our room at the chalet in so booked us at a different hotel that smelt of cigerette smoke

The rooms smelled of urine. The sheets had yellow stains. The pool closed, filled with brown water and in disarray. The website did not say that the pool was closed. The staff (owner) was friendly and understood our frustration. The views were great but the balconies smelled from the old air condition units.

You definitely got what you paid for, and I will not be staying here again. You could hear your neighbors doors opening the entire night, microwaves going off, and they had dressers blocking the staircase where we stayed that we physically had to move in order to get up the stairs. If my friend hadn’t of picked the place, I wouldn’t have chosen it.

If you want a place to lay your head- this place is okay. Linens were clean.But otherwise it was not a great value. The heater had 2 settings- on high or off. Our room was actually in the basement on the building. The window faced a stone wall, and in the event of a fire I might have been able to squeeze my head out the tiny window. I wouldn’t stay again.
