"Only 'complaint' is that there is no elevator. I do not remember seeing that in the write up. I have a bad knee so lugging a large suitcase up and down the stairs was not fun. Otherwise, only other issue was the smoking right outside the door but could walk through that."

"Built as a boutique hotel in the mid-1980s, it's nicer than many standard modern cookie-cutter hotels/motels. It's by a river and an interesting historic downtown and a public park along the river -- so nicely situated. Very nice staff. Comfortable rooms and beds. Some upscale design features. Big parking lot. Note that 2nd floor rooms don't have an elevator to access them (luggage issues, etc if you find stairs daunting)......... Good breakfast in a nice room with a view of the river. Cafes, bars, restaurants nearby. Enjoyed a 5-night stay."
