They use LE LABO products and Frette towels, jumbo flat screen tv...other than that...typical room. For the price, you still have to REQUEST to have your room clean. Paying premium rates, shouldn't have to do that. Can't beat the location though...if you are planning on doing anything near downtown Detroit.

A unique hotel that used to be a firehouse. Great bar and restaurant. The staff was so helpful and friendly. Our room was large and clean. Easy walk to the People Mover and to the Riverwalk area and Woodward street.

Absolutely loved our stay at the Detroit Foundation Hotel - traveled with my Mom, and it was her first time seeing the city (my second time). The location of the hotel provided a great central landing ground as we used public transit for the majority of the trip. Our room was spacious, clean and quiet - well appointed with intentional design. The staff at the hotel is gracious, kind, welcoming and helpful at all times - big shout out to Sarah (concierge) and Michael (Apparatus Room bar) for going the extra mile. We had a great dinner and drinks at the Apparatus Room and loved being in such a stunning space. The Vinyl Brunch on Sundays is not to miss - incredible DJs, well curated and incredible tunes alongside delicious eats!
