There was a nice older man working the desk. I overheard him say that there were no other rooms available for another Patron when I was checking in. It was almost midnight when I checked in and I got a room on the first floor. When I answered the room there was the kitchen area and it smelled like something either had died or someone left rotten trash in there for a week. I was literally gagging. I told the gentleman at the desk about it and he gave me some air freshener spray which definitely did not fix the issue. I had to hold my breath when I entered the room each time and would only stay in other parts of the room. The rooms are big but there were brown smears and boogers on the wall, there was mildew in the shower , the paint on the walls look like it hadn't been touched up in 20 years. I'm not sure if I was supposed to expect this for the price I paid but the smell was horrible and all you could hear was people running up and down the stairs.

DO NOT STAY HERE. My room was dirty. The carpet was so gross, I kept my socks on to walk around. The Lobby is supposed to offer tea and coffee, but there was no decaf tea for bedtime - in the lobby or in the room. The front desk did not have any. I drove to a gas station to buy a cup of tea. The "complementary breakfast" is a bad joke. The bread products are low quality. Other than old bread, there was yoplait yogurt. Nothing hot. There is NO DRINKABLE WATER ANYWHERE IN THE ENTIRE HOTEL. The ice machine on my floor was broken. When I checked in, there was a creepy maintenance guy who stayed in my room too long to "check the tv." I waited in the doorway until he left. There is no manager on the premises. Only a young kid working the desk and responsible for the entire place. Really poor, non-existent management. I just wanted a clean, simple room for one night. It was so gross. I could not wait to leave. I can't believe I paid money for this.
