⭐ Extremely Detailed Review of Auburn Hills Extended Stay Inn (Oct 1–Oct 9 Stay)
My wife, our 7-month-old daughter, and I booked a King Deluxe Studio with Sofa Bed at Auburn Hills Extended Stay Inn through Expedia for 8 nights (October 1st – October 9th, 2025). We were looking forward to a comfortable stay, but unfortunately our experience was full of stress, poor communication, and repeated accusations that completely ruined our time there.

Check-In Experience (October 1st)
We arrived later than the official check-in time (around 5 PM instead of 3 PM). This wasn’t an issue for either side. The front desk routine was standard: I gave my ID, signed paperwork, and received our keys. So far, so good.
That evening, though, we already faced our first situation. My wife is pregnant, and as many people know, a pregnant woman’s sense of smell can be extremely sensitive. The room had a lingering odor that made her uncomfortable, so she lit one of her personal candles. Now, I understand that candles are technically against hotel regulations, but under the circumstances, it was carefully supervised, never left unattended, and only used to make her stay bearable. Because a candle naturally produces some smoke, we put a small bag over the smoke detector temporarily so it wouldn’t go off unnecessarily.
