Didn't understand Extended Stay, there were no utensils, pots and pans etc in the room, but there towels and dishcloths with dish detergent on the counter.

They didn't have the room that I requested and paid for thru Travelocity. I ended up having to pay the hotel directly to obtain two rooms that met my needs. Luckily the hotel management comp'ed one of the two rooms for me, so I only had to pay for one room upfront. Now I still waiting for a refund from Travelocity on the original reservation that I had made 2 months prior

-To start, you have an ad in the elevator that touts $1 donation for each key put in the box by front desk for cancer. Awesome. But the ad says ‘until July 31 2017’. REALLY?? A 4 year expired ad piece? Nice attn to detail! -If you try to get in after hours, the key doesn’t work. You have to dial 7 to have someone physically let you in. Apparently been that way for awhile. -just not an overall feeling that this location is customer focused.

The storm that had gone thru killed power to 1/2 the building so it felt strange maybe a bit unsafe or secure then the room was not as clean as you would hope it to be. We had no problems with what we did use. Was awakened by heavy pounding at our door in the morning...went to look out and saw a tall thin man walking away from the door?? He never ID himself...was a bit unsettling.

weird suburb of Detroit, strange location

I think we got a better room than we paid for so that was good. Overall, this hotel not too bad. Not bad to stay here, maybe doesn’t quite fit it’s name for ‘Extended Stay’ because I wouldn’t necessarily recommend someone to stay here for long periods of time just because we had difficulties with just the keys and things of such.
