The city flat hotels are motel 6 meets ikea - bland, cold, and with sterile Formica decor. This one in Grand Rapids had a window that looked out to a 10 x 8 foot outside square with no light and constant pigeon poop covered window ledges. I will never stay at another within this brand.

Everyone is so friendly and hepful! The lobby bar happy hour was fantastic the food was so fresh. We tried all the happy hour menu food items absolutely delicious.

Room was not very clean. Hair on the floor, hair on the pillows, lots of dust and food bits under the bed and night stands. TV was difficult to work. Parking is HORRIBLE it's either $48 / day or a metered spot on the street where you must download an app and renew every 2 hours. The shower was very nice and the front end staff were good. The bartender Marcus was outstanding.

It was only ok. The photos did not accurately portray the property. The hotel could definitely use some maintenance and paint. There was a button missing in the elevator, lots of wall scuffs and missing paint. It felt shabby. The photo is in the listing is of the private ballroom and isn't visible to guests at all. The listing mentioned Happy Hour and Lobby Coffee Service, and both were not available during my stay. The bed seemed like an air mattress and was horribly uncomfortable. For the same price I could have stayed elsewhere.

The motel staff were very professional and extremely helpful. The motel was very trendy and fairly clean. Since the motel did not have a parking structure, we had to park in the city parking structure. If the motel had a parking structure, I would have given the motel five stars.
