"The room was very clean. Minutes away from the beach which was one reason why I stayed there. Good food from the restaurant next door (Venice). Continental breakfast in the morning; good coffee excellent English muffins and blue berry muffins. We've been going to Misquamicut beach for a while now. We used to stay in Connecticut, if we go back next year. We are staying at the Winnapaug Inn. "

"First of all, Michael at the front desk was excellent. Polite, professional and very informative. All staff interactions were very pleasant. My love, Dave Gleason and I have come here this week for the last 4 years to celebrate our anniversary and it never ever disappoints. This was the first year we had a walk-out courtyard room and it was amazing. The door is a little difficult to slide but it's an old hotel after all. The location is perfection. We look forward to returning year after year. "

"They text you before you arrive which is really helpful because you get to ask for anything specific that you want for the room or update your reservation so I was able to ask for extra pillows and when I checked in it was beautifully set up with lots of soft additional pillows! "The property is very cute and we enjoyed our stay. The area is great and there is plenty to walk to. The rooms do not have a coffee maker or refrigerator. There is ice available, but you have to call down to request it. There is a coffee counter in the lobby area to buy coffee, but it’s only open Thu-Sun, so we had no coffee available since we weren’t there those mornings. The bathroom is very small with little counter space, but it worked out okay for us. The shower is also very small and made it awkward to shower. The bed was fairly comfortable, but the couch is stiff. We enjoyed both bars (there is a ‘speakeasy’ and a karaoke bar called Boombox). We wish they were open more nights. Bartenders at both bars were terrific. Friendly and full of recommendations. The hotel staff was all wonderful, helpful, and kind. "
