From checking in , no staff was available for 30mins. The price online was different from at the time of check in. No towels were stocked in my room, & when I asked for more they told me housekeeping was gone for the night! My shower water was only hot for 5 mins then freezing cold. My room smelled like marijuana terrible ! Never again

The grounds were in terrible condition and there were trash items, weeds, Baron ground, building is not well marked from the parking area, making it difficult to find our unit. The kitchen was poorly equipped unclean. I found a dead fly in the refrigerator and grease on the bottom of all the dishes. The top rack of the dishwasher was broken and was difficult to use. The garbage disposal has not been cleaned properly and the skirt around it needs to be replaced. The oven heated very slowly and made it impossible to bake seafood dinner. The toilet paper and paper towels used shred while using them making them more of a nuisance than a convenience. The hot water supply was variable. It took a long time to get hot water in the kitchen and the bathroom, causing a waste of water to wait for it to get hot. I asked for two small items, which were two additional washcloths, and creamer package for my coffee. I was told that they were not available at the moment, but would be either late that night or tomorrow. The main reason that we chose the Sonesta suites was because of the full kitchen. While basics were available, it was difficult to prepare a meal with a dishwasher that had a top rack that didn’t work, that is it could not pull it out to load it. Additionally, we were not offered housekeeping services, and expected a knock on the door for housekeeping in the morning! That did not happen. We did appreciate the very comfortable bed, and the location. Very sweet staff.

I had made our reservation 5mo. ahead and called with a request for a first floor due to medical issue. Upon arrival I was given a second floor, I told the agent about my request. He said just because you requested first floor does not guarantee you will receive it. After 30 minutes he found a first floor. I was told the room would be cleaned every five days, then I was told I needed to make an appointment. After making three appointments the room was never cleaned. We had to go to the office every day for clean towels and sheets when needed. My husband emptied the trash daily. One evening at 9:40 noise was coming from the room above, it sounded like weights being dropped. I walked over to the office and was told quite time started at 10pm. This continued nightly starting at midnight until 1:30 am. We will never return!!! After checking prices I could have stayed at the Hyatt for same cost. The hotel is very old.

I like that it has a loft so there is space for everyone but our stay was not that good. There was four guest and only 2 towels in the room 2 face cloths. The fireplace was unuseable. The closet door was broken. There was patchy work done as repairs in the room. We went to the pool. Our bathing suits changed colors. There was definitely clorine put in the water that was burning our eyes. This was a big disappointment from 2 years ago. I also got charged for my room twice for the same day.

do yourself a favor and skip this hotel. You could end up with a unit with air conditioning that isn’t working and they won’t be able to fix it and they won’t be able to move you to a new room. When the maintenance guy showed me how bad the pipes were I didn’t think too much of it until someone told me how dangerous it could be. They were supposed to fix it while we were out at the zoo and they never did and they said they were sold out of rooms. When I try to get in touch with the manager all of a sudden he was never around it’s been four days and I still haven’t heard from him. Their receptionist promised reimbursement from the manager. I have not received any emails or any calls yet to prove that. Our vacation was ruined because the kids could not sleep it was too hot and the rooms are outdated. So do yourself a favor and listen to all the bad reviews because they are true.

Falling apart, not a place to stay and rest

Only there 2 nights. Originally reserved one room to sleep 3 comfortably but due to A/C problems was switched to two rooms…on opposite ends of the complex. The entrance to our room was rusty and a roach that scattered to under couch, where there was an uncovered hole to electrical? The next night we got home at midnight to find water trickling down the ceiling and bathroom door and flooding bathroom. We again had to move to a new room. The place is falling apart. Only redeeming is close to airport but would recommend staying at ones even closer for a bit more money. Not only will I never stay there again but not at any hotel in that chain.
