"Just came back from a six-night stay and loved every second! The perfect resort for an intimate couple’s getaway or a secluded relaxing vacation. The staff was AMAZING — Jamey, Jason, Allison, Lynette, and more names than I can even remember — everyone greeted us so warmly every time we saw them. The food was delicious in every restaurant, and we quickly felt like family. The bungalows were amazing, and the balcony became our favorite part of the room. We loved all of the beautiful plants and flowers on the property, even having a doctor bird visit us on our balcony one afternoon! We got engaged on this trip and felt surrounded by love from the staff and other guests. So many couples celebrating anniversaries and even an elopement on the beach…the entire beach celebrated when they kissed! It was a trip to remember, and we can’t wait to visit again to celebrate something new. If you are looking for a relaxing, low-key, intimate trip where you can disconnect JUST enough, this is the place!"

"Amazing stay! We had a wonderful experience at Riu Palace Tropical Bay. The buffet staff were incredibly attentive and made us feel like part of the family throughout our stay. The team responsible for the non-motorized water sports and tubing activities were exceptionally friendly, helpful, and consistently went above and beyond to ensure we had a great time. The entertainment group was also amazing, especially the Colombian guy. However, besides that, true highlight of our vacation was the beach, warm, crystal-clear, calm, and impeccably clean. It was absolutely breathtaking. The spectacular sunsets each evening made the experience even more memorable.m! We genuinely enjoyed every moment of our stay and would not hesitate to return. We highly recommend this resort and look forward to visiting again in the future! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐"

"I rarely leave negative reviews, but this hotel was one of the most disappointing experiences I’ve had. Housekeeping was extremely poor. The cleaners would come into the room, but often the bed sheets were not changed, towels were not replaced, and basic amenities such as shampoo were missing. It felt like the room was never properly serviced. The staff’s behavior was also inappropriate at times. Several male employees were overly flirty and repeatedly asked for phone numbers, which was uncomfortable and unprofessional. The food was very repetitive with very little variety, especially for an all-inclusive resort. The restaurant service was equally disappointing. It was common to wait 20 minutes or more for a drink, and on multiple occasions our orders were forgotten completely. Many servers seemed uninterested in helping guests. Overall, the hotel failed in the areas that matter most: cleanliness, professionalism, food quality, and customer service. I would not return and would not recommend it to anyone expecting a relaxing and enjoyable vacation."
