Don’t waste time with pre check in. You’re still sat at the lobby with everyone else to wait for over an hour to check in. It took us nearly 2 hours to check in and we didn’t even bother to wait for the shuttle to bring our bags up. We were told to wait for someone to help us, got tired of that, and once we started walking suddenly we were offered help. We came in on a private cab so it’s not like we showed up with a group from a shuttle. The people on the shuttle that showed up 15-20 minutes after us were getting helped before we were and we were pre checked in! The activity schedule means nothing, it’s rarely happening and never on time. The breakfast buffet was so boring after the first 2 days. Had more lunch/dinner options than breakfast and was pretty much the same each day. The evening entertainment was drastically toned down from our last trip to this resort. Many of the activities and entertainment were shut down with no notice at all.

We had a great stay despite hurricane Melissa and wish to commend the staff and management for their response and attention to guests' needs and services during and after the hurricane. We met many outstanding and caring staff and hope hotel will be able to retain them once it reopens. We are also grateful for the complimentary days post hurricane and all the efforts to facilitate our safe return to our respective homes. Prior to the hurricane, we were pleasantly surprised with upgraded swim-out suites at check-in. Will definitely return because of the excellent service and to assist in the Jamaica's recovery/tourism.

I don’t usually leave reviews, but our stay at Princess Senses The Mangrove was so incredible I had to share! We booked the Platinum Junior Suite, and from the moment we arrived, we were treated like royalty. Greeted with a welcome drink, a tour of the property, and introduced to our amazing butlers, Dennis and Alexis, who went above and beyond in every way. Dennis made all our dinner reservations, gave great recommendations, and constantly checked in, often surprising us with thoughtful touches like decorating our room and even filling the Jacuzzi multiple times. Alexis was just as wonderful. When I mentioned I’d never had a fresh coconut, she went off-resort to bring me one the next day! Their warmth and genuine care made us feel like family by the end of our 6-day stay. The resort itself is stunning. Incredible food, a huge beach, and plenty of pools and quiet spaces. It’s so large that it sometimes feels empty, but that’s part of its peaceful charm. We went during the off-season, and since it’s still new, I’m sure it’ll only get busier. We feel lucky to have experienced such luxury for the price we paid. Honestly, it was worth double. The only mystery left is why there’s a telephone in the washroom! 😂 If you’re considering this resort, don’t hesitate, book it!
