"Had to evacuate downtown hotel because of power outage. (My son uses a power wheelchair and my wife has a cochlear implant. Both need to be charged, and we also were worried about the elevators going out and leaving him/us trapped . Desk had no news about the outage. We’re seriously unhelpful. I tried to get our second night cancelled and they said they couldn’t/wouldn’t because we booked with Expedia . Peppermill was everything the El Dorado wasn’t. Clean, helpful professional staff (Monica at front desk was hugely helpful). Great surroundings."
