Dog friendly hotel, dogs I think are booked into the ground floor rooms. Menus in bar and restaurant which are right next door to each other are good for allergies. I’m GF but had no problem. Pool is small and busy but all one depth and not too deep. Well maintained and you can’t get in without filling in a form, being a guest or a member. Didn’t have time for a treatment. Hotel parking is limited, saw some charging points. We parked in front of hotel reception in the public car park which was fine about £7 a day I think? There is a short walk to the Cathedral, shops and even nearer for the theatre. Slopey rather than hilly. Good location. We felt safe there. Good shopping! Will book again. "
