Village Hotel Basingstoke
"We loved this hotel. Really modern, gym and pool were really good and well kitted out. The roomm, albeit a bit small, was really comfortable and we had a great nights sleep. We would definitely stay in a village hotel again. Only issue we had was the coffee machine had mould in the bottom of the ..."

Village Hotel Swindon
"Great property and friendly staff. Refurbed rooms look great although the water pressure was white low. Beds are really comfortable. Only negative was no aircon, which is mitigated by fans, but the windows don't really open more than an inch (2nd floor) so impossible to get air flow. Doesn't really ..."

Norton Park Hotel, Spa & Manor House
"The room appeared clean but unfortunately there was a used tissue on the window sill. Unfortunately, although the bathroom seemed ok when we first walked in, the shower unit was not good at all. There was mould on the grouting and the shower door seals were encrusted with limescale. The whole thing ..."

Hampshire Court Hotel & Spa
"Nice room. Not overly big and lacking air con but perfectly adequate. Staff very helpful. Excellent breakfast. Dinner fair to middling. Very geared towards spa folk which if you’re not one makes it feel a bit odd. Quite a mix of people old and young and facilities. Overall decent hotel."

"The room appeared clean but unfortunately there was a used tissue on the window sill. Unfortunately, although the bathroom seemed ok when we first walked in, the shower unit was not good at all. There was mould on the grouting and the shower door seals were encrusted with limescale. The whole thing was unappealing. The restaurant delivered food of a good quality - well done to the chef for cooking scallops beautifully. The staff appeared to be inexperienced with one or two exceptions - they were competent and helpful but needed prompting to provide items such as a steak knife etc. Also given mustard that needed its seal removing - small things that added up. Overall, a nice stay but a multitude of small things meant it could have been better."
