Room was comfortable for our limited overnight before flying out. Next to highway, so be prepared with ear plugs or sound machine (used our cell phone Better Sleep app on green noise and slept great). Ample parking, friendly staff, convenient to ORD.

My room was not serviced and I did not receive fresh towels for the duration of my three-night stay, despite repeated requests. When I spoke with the manager about these issues, they were unwilling to acknowledge the mistakes and their attitude was unprofessional. As an IHG member, I am very disappointed with the service I received and the way my concerns were handled. This experience has unfortunately made me reconsider booking with Holiday INN Schaumburg hotel in the future.

We visit Chicago often and usually stay in the Schaumburg area, but this was by far the worst hotel we’ve stayed in. First, the pool was closed, which was a big disappointment. The customer service was terrible — when we asked for housekeeping, we were told it was “by request,” but when we called to have our room cleaned, the staff said there was no housekeeping available and only offered a towel change. The room wasn’t clean when we arrived — my son even found a piece of a snack wrap on the floor. The staff were unfriendly and unhelpful throughout our stay. Unfortunately, we won’t be returning to this hotel.

I wasn’t able to check into my room until after 5pm when check-in is at 3pm. I was told housekeeping was in there. Only to get in the room and there was a broken window. The bar was closed and so was the pool. My over experience wasn’t a good one.

I can tell the bed Linens were not changed there were hairs and crumbs and things of that nature on the beds. The shower water went completely cold, ice cold, and I told the front desk. All they said was sorry about that and did nothing to resolve the issue.

The property was clean for the most part. The property could use some updates. The a/c was not functioning properly but worked. The desk clerk at checkout was not very pleasant. I usually get a itemized bill receipt but I didn't. The elevators were extremely slow. The beds and bedding were comfy. The carpets had stains and hair was still in the shower from previous customers. It wasn't the IHG level that I am accustomed to.
