The most terrible stay possible. Avoid if you can

From the beginning the stay was very unwelcoming. We had to ask to get fresh towels about three times the next day to then have to pick it up from the lobby. The staff was complaining to us that they are fully booked so cannot provide service. Ice machine was broken on our floor. Manager was never available and also the staff attitude was like they did not care. It was so terrible that we checked out early after 2 nights rather than stay the full 7 nights and moved to a different hotel - Hyatt in Chicago. I am so scarred by my experience that even during rest of my trip i am avoiding any IHG property as i do not want to live through the nightmare. Housekeeping staff picked up the tip we left them, but did not bother to leave paper cups and fresh towels.

The staff was excellent. The building was starting to show its age but was clean and well maintained. The room was clean and provided the necessary amenities. I would definitely stay again when in the area.
