"Room was clean, bathrooms are dated but work, breakfast was free and very good! Did not use the indoor pool but it looked nice. "

"Front desk staff needs a serious makeover. Rude staff lied about a “mysterious change” to my reservation. I had booked a standard room with w queen beefs weeks ago. I was given a single queen accessible room. Front desk staff told me it was too bad and they were now full after lie about the change made to my reservation. When I pressed about details of the change the lying level increased in an effort to try cover up their giving my room away. Seems pretty obvious that if you cannot provide ANY info for the change, it’s highly likely untrue. At least that’s how I read the room. Beyond the poorly trained staff are the cleanliness issued with the room, the inadequate breakfast offering and the flood of water that entered the bathroom when using the shower. I’ll give them credit for the location but truth is there are SO many options near the campus that you can really get a better, more enjoyable accommodation with almost zero effort. This property needs to feel the pressure before they will step up and make any appreciable changes that are actually guest-forward. I travel upwards of 40-nights a year and speak from experience. You’ve been warned."

"My family and I are from Georgia and were looking for a home that we could celebrate my niece’s graduation from PSU. We wanted today host a dinner after the graduation for all of us plus her roommates and their families…this home was perfectly located, had plenty of room for my family to sleep, was clean, very well-stocked and the back yard was a lush lawn with plenty of room to set up serving tables for the caterer and round tables for all of us to eat at.The very best part of the whole experience in staying at this home was how responsive Karen was and how much attention to detail was given to every single aspect of the home and making our stay feel special. If I could give a 10-star rating, I certainly would (because 5 stars doesn’t feel nearly adequate!). Thank you for everything!!"
