The front lobby and facade is descent. Very deceiving. The rest of the building is run down. The wallpaper was peeling in the room. The chiller on the roof was making a loud humming noise that you could hear in the room. The bathroom was very dated and didn’t look like it had been deep cleaned in a while. The handyman that came around looked like something out of a movie. Could have been anyone they got off the street. The front desk staff was pleasant and accommodating. We literally called around, found a room in a sister hotel and left. Even the woman from another hotel who helped us find the new hotel said that she transferred two reservations over this week alone and that she didn’t know how the Ramada wasn’t shut down. She even guessed where we were staying when i explained my situation. Definitely not a 3 star hotel. Borders on the level of a motel that someone goes to hideout in a movie.

Check with any place your staying to see if the pool is open. They were renovating and access to the room was difficult. The grass was full of holes/ rat dens. The room was par the best thing was the Dove products. The bed hurts like hell!

We booked this hotel to use a pool and hot tub on our way to another destination and it was closed for maintenance! The bathroom was very dirty. Drops of blood or stool by the toilet that did not come from us. The front desk staff was very nice, but the other workers were odd and some were smoking right by the entrance. This place seems to be on its way downhill.

We checked in and first the toilet did jot work - kept running and not flushing. Then had to wait for maintenance to come then as we are looking more around the room we find blood smear on the dresser! Tell the staff and fhey put us in a new room with not a stained tub but a dirty tub. We left and went to a different hotel.

We were rather disappointed with our stay. The indoor pool was closed which was no one's fault but when we went to the outdoor pool there were no clean pool towels available. The bedding in our room was stained and we asked for new comforter and the old one was just taken off and a new one was just placed on our bed. Supplies in our room ran out- we had to ask for toilet paper at the front desk.

Possibly the worst kept hotel I have ever stayed in. Paint was pealing from the ceiling in the bathroom. It was gross. Rust all over the place. Looked like a flashback to 1983.

Great value for the price

The place was great for the price, but could use some updating. I choose this hotel for the indoor Pool and attached resteraunt/bar Unfortunatly, the indoor pool was closed for maintenance and the resteraunt was closed on Sundays. Not something that could have been controlled. Would certainly stay there again.

The property was a little outdated. There aren’t windows in rooms for sunshine, but interior windows to look out into the building. However the room and bathroom were clean, well kept, everything was working, and bathroom was clean. The bed was comfortable as well. There was access to tv. The front lobby staff were all courteous, friendly and quick to get me checked in. The hotel is 6 minutes drive from Penn State campus and downtown, very convenient. There are also a couple of food establishments and grocery stores about 1 block down from the hotel. It was easy to find, reasonable pricing, and easy parking. I will stay here again.

The indoor pool was closed, which was not said on their website. The hotel was very run down inside. The room itself was not clean. Yes the bed was made with clean sheets but the actual room was dirty. The bathroom was very disgusting. Mildew and water stains in the tub, trash on the floor, the vent was coated in thick dust, amongst other things.
