"Such a beautiful setting! I regret that I didn't have more time to check out the surroundings but I was on my way to a retreat and this was a stop over. The room was clean, staff wonderful, coffee super. "

"Staying at the Pines Inn, made my visit to GV/NC so lovely and comfortable. I loved the art and design touches in the cottage, soft outdoor music in the garden ~ Welcoming hospitality and a sense of privacy. "

"The room was somewhat clean, but there were a pair of mattresses right in front of the room, dirty and old with stains--I took pics---I had no choice but to check out within less than two hours and it was becuase I was no the phone with Expedia trying to book something else. I was charged for one night, even though the pics on the website look nothing like this old, falling-apart place. But never again. Driving out of the parking lot, I noticed there was nobody else. That was the worse experience and on top of all I rated another beautiful hotel this rating out of frustration and confusion. I travel for work. Stay away from this place; they still get some money from you. Crazy!!!"
