There needs to be better signage for the self parking, non-valet parking. There needs to be more staff members are reception for faster check in and check out. Other than that, all was well!

I have always had a good experience staying at Westin properties, and generally the experience in Boston was good as well. The only complaint was that the day we checked out, we found a single bedbug, definitely a bedbug in the bed in our room that we were not using. These things happen and that didn't really upset up. We reported it to the front desk on check out, and were told there would be a follow up phone call. However, that phone call never came and there was no follow up. I understand things can get lost in communication, and we are not upset about it, but I think it could have been handled better. Not complaining, just letting management know what happened.

it took 30 minute just for someone to check us in. they change our room whiteout telling us anything, we book a king size bed they gave 2 twin beds, when I call front desk the lady said “thats all we’ve available”

Negative stay right from checkin

We got to the hotel around 4am. When we went to check in we were told their system reboots every night and it was in the middle of rebooting. We were told it would be 10-15 mins before we could check in. 45 minutes later the systems were finally back up and running. After confirming my reservation over the phone twice I was told he couldn’t fine my reservation. Eventually he found it and we were assigned a room. Once we got up to our room on the very top floor we went to open the door and the lock on the inside of the door was on and noticed the do no disturb sign hanging from the handle. Indicating someone was already assigned that room and in there. Back down to the front desk we had to go. Told the same guy what happened and we were assigned a different room. When we got up there the room smelled of BO and this room was a single bed when I had booked a double bed. We went down the next day and complained as it was after 5am at this point. The manager, Timothy I believe his name was, we spoke to the next day was extremely apologetic and extremely helpful. Come to find out the worker we dealt with the morning before was also a manager. The tv in our room also wasn’t working and Timothy got someone up there immediately to fix it. He also sent housekeeping right up with towels that I had asked for. The room smelled the whole time. All the elevators had an odor in them every time. The only positive thing I have to say about my stay was the job of Timothy.
