"Five star treatment from the friendly and helpful staff"
We stayed at the Four Seasons in Boston two weeks ago to celebrate our anniversary. Our room had a great view of the Boston Common and the bed was extremely comfortable, especially the feather pillows. We had dinner at the Bristol Lounge. The food was fantastic and our server, Glen made our meal a wonderful experience! He enhanced every course with the perfect wine. We were hoping to see him at breakfast the next morning, where the coffee was superb! Would definitely stay there again.

"Great as always"
I hadn't been back to the Charles for more than 10 years when I stayed there a few weeks ago. It was still as warm and comfortable and welcoming as I had remember it. Great!

"Perfect for families"
Not knowing the area, and our first time in greater Boston area, we were quite pleased with the king family suite room (space), the cleanliness of the hotel and the attached indoor water park and arcade for our toddler son. I wish the restaurant was open with more hours, but you are very close to shopping and many restaurants. Parking is free and abundant, no concerns there. The only thing I would have liked to have known was that there was no elevator going to the 2nd floor. It was not a concern on any other days, except, hauling luggage up the stairs to check into room, and hauling luggage back down to check out. So, if you have any reason to not take stairs, make sure you do not request the 2nd floor, as that is the only floor the elevator does not go to. Room service was quick, menu was large and room was very clean(I am quite picky). Will definitely be a place we stay again when we visit the area.

"Our new favorite Boston hotel"
My husband and I live just outside Boston and we try to do an overnight at least once a year to celebrate milestones (birthdays, anniversaries, etc.). Our typical go-to is the Royal Sonesta (the site of our wedding) but since the renovations a year or two ago, its lost some of the nostalgia we used to feel going there. Instead, for my birthday this year we decided to stay at the Intercontinental, we love the area (although quiet at night) and we'd heard great things about the hotel. We reserved a standard King City View room and my husband made a note in the comments about celebrating a birthday. Upon arrival we were greeted by super friendly hotel staff who informed us that we had been upgraded to a harbor-view room. The room was gorgeous and the view was spectacular; our plan was to hang out, use the facilities and go to dinner in the lobby at Rumba or Miel. We ordered some cheese & crackers from Room Service which was really lovely and then shortly after had a knock on the door. The gentleman from room service greeted us with DELICIOUS chocolate raspberry moose cake (with happy birthday written in chocolate on the plate) and a bottle of chilled Prosecco (my favorite). We enjoyed the rest of our stay and had a great time checking out all the facilities at the hotel. Honestly, we couldn't have had a better time and we were made to feel SO special by the hotel staff - I can't wait to stay there again for our next occasion! Thank you!!!

"Good central location"
We had a great time! Felt very safe, staff very helpful and friendly! Concierge very helpful in planning and putting together our attractions we wanted to see. It is located within walking of the Prudential Shopping, Copley shopping and even to Newbury Street. The Old Time Trolley stops at this Marriott also! We were pretty tired at the end of the day... and it was good to have the comfortable beds and pillows!!
