I felt very safe as a solo female traveler, anything you could ever want they can make available for you with a list of extra amenities that can be requested. Staff were kind and professional with good recommendations. I could easily walk to most things- The Harbor for my harbor cruise and north end for my tour I did out there. Overall very good stay, will stay again.

Very few things are worth every penny, but this hotel is. From the beautiful and clean rooms to the helpful and friendly staff to the best hotel gym/pool that I have encountered; it was perfect. We went with two kids (ages 10 and 15) and they both loved it. We all felt catered to without feeling overburdened and it was elegant without any pretension. I recommend this hotel for business people, couples, families with small children, or families with older children.

The room I viewed when I booked, looked nothing like the room I received. The window was beautiful but only had a view of the next building (could not see a thing else). Like because of the shape you couldn’t even see the motion of downtown Boston. We had to request new face towels as soon as we got to the room, the ones already in the bathroom looked a little dirty. Other than that the hotel is beautiful. Staff are very welcoming! Valet was amazing even in the cold!

Our stay started off a little disappointing due to the service we received from some of the staff. We found the interactions to be quite blunt, and at times, they came across as lacking care, with some responses even feeling a bit rude. However, everything changed after we spoke to a lovely lady over the phone regarding a request. She was incredibly polite, full of energy, and genuinely eager to help. When we later went downstairs to raise our concerns with the manager, we were pleasantly surprised to discover that the person we had spoken to on the phone was, in fact, the manager herself – Elizabeth. Elizabeth’s warmth and positivity were absolutely contagious. She not only listened to our concerns, apologised on behalf of her team, and offered some compensation due to the issues we had faced, but she also continued to check in on us throughout our stay. Her energy and attentiveness truly transformed our experience. Simple gestures like a cheerful “good morning,” asking how our stay was going, or engaging in light conversation made such a difference – it’s the kind of care that leaves a lasting impression.
