Open floor plan featuring vaulted tongue and groove wood ceiling, 2 fireplaces, and incredible woodwork. Beautiful forest views and is just a short drive to the ski slopes, lake, golf, zoo, restaurants, shops, and National Forest hiking trails.

LIVING SPACE - Spacious 2000+ sq ft home with living room, ceiling fans, breakfast bar, dining table, TV, stunning floor to ceiling river rock wood/gas fireplace, and plenty of comfortable living room seating.

ROOMS & BEDS - 3 bedroom, 2 bath. Master suite has a queen bed, sleeper sofa, wood/gas fireplace, smart TV, and private bath with jet tub and double sinks. Second bedroom has 2 queen beds, and smart TV. Third bedroom has a double/twin bunk bed, and smart TV. Extra blankets and pillows are available.

Fox Cabin uncared-for. 2 weeks stay (no alternative) and didn't complain endlessly (not our style). Our experience, renters beware:Exterior: 15ft driveway dropped into a ditch or onto the road--barely room for big vehicle. Outside gas firepit didn't work, water-logged hot tub cover (heavy), rusty nails (pointed up) greeted our feet into the tub. Mismatched old cushions on deck chairs some ripped and many stained. Bamboo sunscreen half missing and the rest in pieces. Old carpet scraps piled in corner.Interior: Dirty house with worn-out, furniture, stained carpets and rugs, rugs had curled edges (trip hazard)--the double stick tape fix was ineffective. Hot water tank popped and crackled into the night--needs service. Clothes washer sounded like a jet engine taking off--drowned out everything. Primary bedroom ruled by the outside temperature--freezing at night, hot in the day. Why, the bedroom opened directly into a sunroom without shades. A sliding glass door should have separated these spaces instead the owner jerry-rigged closet bifold doors that didn't fit and likely violated fire codes. Poor bedroom lighting and the room smelled. Poorly equipped kitchen, lacked hot pads or sufficient dish towels, had no strainer, minimal silverware, lacked cleaning supplies, dishwasher soap, paper towels etc. Dishwasher was not anchored (ridiculous), old fridge wouldn't keep food cold and ice dispenser didn't operate.

Great cabin

When we arrived the cabin was clean and very welcoming however their was no propane for the fire outside they had very dirty cushions and no where to really sit in the backyard comfortably.We hoped the home had soap since we only came for one night we didn’t bring much with us . That was a big problem considering we had 10 guests and we all wanted to shower after the snow , trash instructions were wrong we drove around looking to dump trash and couldn’t find anywhere . The tv wouldn’t work and we couldn’t log into any apps because the airplay just kept crashing we tried so hard to figure it out to even just put a movie for the kids . Fooseball table and ski hockey were great kids loved that and overall it was a simple home to stay in
