"The Puffin Inn has been around for years. Got a bit rundown, but I was pleasantly surprised with my latest visit. Close to the airport, along a busy downtown street, and on the route of a small plane runway. Yet silence. Beautiful silence! The lobby retains its Alaska charm. Breakfast is nothing to crow about. But the staff was inviting. The room was spacious. Prices were reasonable for Anchorage in summer. I’ll be back!"
