Very sketchy neighborhood the windows have no screens and open to where there is garbage, empty bottles and could easily be broken in.

Thank you for staying at the Aviator Hotel in Anchorage. I'm sorry your stay was less than you expected. Please be so kind as to let me know when you stayed with us and what room you were in. We have team members that pick up trash outside the building multiple times a day, and are in the process of replacing all window screens in the hotel.

The location is great but the hotel is dirty. There was a used washcloth on top of the shower curtain. Breakfast was mediocre If you like jellid eggs you will love it. No internet even though advertised. No free shuttle they charge and you have to book the day before so they do not just have the shuttle running at periodic times. We left and stayed somewhere else.

Property was run down. Room was not clean. Bed linens were not clean. Limited parking. Ended up paying an extra $15 to park in a pay lot.

This hotel needs serious cleaning and a renovation. The price for this place was highway robbery. Would have never stayed if we weren’t desperate to find a hotel last minute.

It was only 1 night and close to where we needed to be in the morning, so it was acceptable. But the hotel is rundown, the room lights were mostly not working, and needed outlets for charging phones, etc. The upstairs music lounge was better than the hotel.

A great "heart of downtown" deal for the money!

Pros: Heart of downtown location, great bar-grill, big quiet rooms with blackout shades, very friendly staff.
Cons: Attention to detail- mostly minor stuff, on arrival ice machines all inop, room safe inop, room missing phone, coat hangars, & ice bucket.
Location: Heart of downtown, close to everything, one block from downtown Mall! Awesome location!
Excellent bar-grill in the Hotel, free breakfast buffet, very large rooms with good tv's and standard bathtub/shower. We had a single king bed which was very satisfactory. In room individually controlled heater/air conditioner/fan was great. The rooms have "BLACKOUT BLINDS,"... absolutely essential for summer sleep with daylight all night long-most other hotels there DO NOT have these blackout window shades in my experience. Rooms were very quiet-no noise from adjoining rooms. The only issues were minor-all of the hotels ice machines were inoperative but the bar provided ice, and on arrival the room phone, ice bucket, coat hangars, were missing, and the room safe did not work). This Hotel provides FREE PARKING! Beware much more expensive downtown hotels that claim "free parking" at exorbitant rates and do not provide it.
