Shuttle Service was a Plus
It's a very clean, comfortable hotel. We really missed having any sort of restaurant/bar/breakfast facility. However, they had an efficient, friendly shuttle service that we used for the airport and nearby restaurants.

The Dimond was clean and convenient location. The lobby could use some freshing up, the entrance is a small revolving door which is cumbersome to get luggage through and the handicap door did not work. I know we’re in Alaska and it does get cold but it was around 60° outside. It was warm for us, but yet there was no air conditioning in the hotel room. They had a fan which lowered to 60 and you could open the window. When I inquired, they weren’t sure if there was air conditioning, but said that they do have portable fans that I could use for the room. So I had to keep the window open, but our room was facing a small courtyard in the middle of the night. There was a woman outside, speaking very loudly on the phone who woke us up. I would recommend staying here again, but making sure you don’t get a room near the courtyard. If you have to open the window and I wouldn’t stay if it’s really hot outside because the entire hotel was very hot.

Great for a place to stay before leaving for the airport the next day. Clean, friendly staff, great bathtub in the king size room. Breakfast was fine. No complaints.

Great stay!
Staff were friendly and the kitchen staff went above and beyond. We were leaving the following day prior to the kitchen opening, so they gave us a to go container and let us take extra bagels for the next day. It was great as a snack on our train ride. The shuttle driver was also friendly and super helpful!

The room are spacious, the desk and housekeeping staff are friendly. The shuttle ride is very comfortable. The breakfast option needs work. The juise was watery, the french toast was and turkey sausage was hard to chew. You need non dairy creamer option fir coffee.

The staff were friendly and the location was very convenient with a Walmart next door and plenty of food and shopping options. My only complaint was that no one ever came to clean our room. We stayed for 4 days and our trash was never emptied. We had to ask for towels and toilet paper. The beds were never made and the room not cleaned the entire time we were there. We left everyday so there was plenty of opportunity. I saw the maid service cleaning other rooms but my room and my daughter’s room were never handled. Quite disappointing.

You have a transportation director that can not keep his hands off not only the employees but the customers. It was very sickening to see the way he just had to not only get right in the face of every single person he came in contact with but he also had to put his arms around them and hands all over them. I am a eye witness to this behavior for any employees or customer that wants to file a sexural harassment.

Large clean rooms for the money
Check in was easy. Staff were friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and has a great garden-deep tub to relax in. Carpet and flooring looked clean and new, housekeeping does a great job. TV channels are ok, microwave and small fridge and one-cup coffee maker all appropriate for size of room. Curtains and lights all in working order and clean. Walls clean and well decorated. Breakfast was common style, dry cereal, toast, waffle maker, boiled eggs, yogurt and a three- burner hot selections like eggs, bacon and potatoes or gravy and biscuits with sausage links. Downside- toilet in bathroom was very low to floor, and paint in bathroom appeared to look dated and poorly done in areas. Location is in same parking lot area of a Walmart, large indoor mall with theater and restaurants (Chilis, Olive Garden, and more). Appeared safe for parking- but don’t leave anything in sight in your vehicle, as anywhere nowadays, theft is common. Well lighted area in high traffic intersection.

Went for doctor appointments. Has reserved king room. Checked in and got a double queen room. Went back to desk and told the man. He rudely corrected the mistake. There was a lot of noise in the hall early in the morning. Bed was not very comfortable
