"We had a good stay at this property with family. Due to flight disruptions, we arrived a day late and although we could not be reimbursed for that first night, which is understandable, they were very understanding about the whole situation. The main thing I did not like is that the website says they accept AMEX and also, when we arrived at the hotel, there was a small sign that read AMEX which indicates again that they accept it (so I thought) and AMEX was the card I planned on using. But when she swiped it and it was declined, I called AMEX and they told me nothing was wrong with my card and that it is Aurelia Apartments that no longer accepts AMEX. So that was a big expense I had to pay for on another card that I was not expecting to use for the hotel. That was a negative effect on me. So hopefully they update the website and take that AMEX sign down if they continue to not accept it. Also, I was in a room with 4 woman and the only mirror was in the bathroom. So maybe adding another mirror outside of the bathroom would be a nice touch. But overral, our stay at the apartment was good."

"Affordable nice place when every other hotel in central Rome is absurdly overpriced. I had a good rate, and the room was modern and clean, more or less. My bed was one of those overly firm, cheap feeling mattresses. The shower had a significant amount of mold stains, and the shower door was falling apart almost. Water pressure not too good. Very small bath towels, and old and worn. They are not much bigger than a hand towel. Smaller towel I ever saw at a hotel. The patio is a total delight to see theough the glass door. It must be nice to sit out there. Very attractive patio. With an amazing rolling metal door that can close to block out morning light and for safety. The entire room is operated by well-working, modern switches. Excellent modern lighting. A major downside is that the hotel is on the OTHER side of Saint Peter Basilica. There is no Metro there. There is another train line though, not sure how that train works though. The walk from the Basilica is not short, but not too bad. 20 minutes? You will likely have to take taxis or busses. Most people would probably not like walking to the hotel late at night. But I was grateful for a decent clean modern place, priced at around €140. The savings were worth it to me. The nighttime desk guy was AMAZINGLY HELPFUL. I forgot the gentleman's name though. He helped me figure out what to do regarding closed Trenitalia tracks causing crazy routes to Assisi. And he assisted me regarding rental car possibilities etc."
