The room was in need of updates. The floor was warped where water from the leaking shower doors had damaged the floor. There was dust buildup in the corners of the room. The breakfast was the same every day, no variation. The rooftop bar was no longer in operation, but you could go and sit on the terrace.

This hotel is just a 20 minute walk from the Vatican, very convenient for that. Outside you have 2 restaurants and a supermarket. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good. The bed in the room was too small for the 3 of us. Hair dryer stopped working and was replaced with a newer model. Air conditioning could be controlled once it was granted through the front desk. Overall we had a good visit.

The hotel was close proximity to St Peter's Basilica and good restaurant and cafe. The room was right size and clean. The staff were all very nice and helpful. From check in to check out everyone we met were awesome. Front Desk Max checked us in early, walked us to the next door resto and booked us taxi back to the airport. The other front desk guys were as nice as well. We would definitely stay at Hotel Gravina again and highly recommend them to travelers visiting Rome.

The hotel is great as a base , very limited shopping around the area, two fabulous restaurants next door but transports lets this hotel down , no trams or metro . Bus available but not clear where they are going and how to access them. Overall value for money
