"Things aren't always as it seems"
When I checked into this hotel for the first time I was given a room in the "annex" which slightly resembles a prison cell with a door. Since this was my girlfriends first trip to Atlantic city I called the desk to complain that the room didn't look as it did on the website (travelocity). The man I spoke to (Sal) took the time to listen to my complaint and he did everything in his power to make it right even though it wasn't the hotels fault as it was the travel websites fault for using fake photos. Sal made it a great stay and we will return again really soon. Be aware of what the annex is prior to making your reservation. Things aren't always as nice as they seem. Thank you Sal!!!!

"Close to beach & boardwalk"
Hotel was adaquete for price, close to beach and bordwalk. No ac in bedroom only in living area, had to ask for a fan. Only one shower worked. One ice machine on 14th floor, no soda machines were working. I would recommend only bc it's cheaper than boardwalk hotels bit not for the overall appearance and amenities.

"Nice Hotel but bad timing for a visit."
This is an old building built in 1927. The structure is poured concrete which makes it very quiet. I had the room next to the elevator and I never heard it or any of the other guests. It's close to Atlantic city but far enough away that you don't have the crowds of Atlantic city. The pool was closed because of the high winds from hurricane Joaquin. There is a small grocery store a couple blocks away and a nice seafood market. Walking distance in good weather. The main entrance is up several stairs with no ramp. If you need a ramp there is a door on the back side that gets to the elevators. The bathroom was very small. The only 'counter' space is the top of the toilet tank. The kitchen is small and not very well built but functional. It was a good stay and I would stay there again despite the minor flaws in the room.

    Atlantic City Beach Hotel Guide

Ready for some fun in the sun? Put on your swimming suit and head to the white sandy beaches of Atlantic City. This resort city on the shores of New Jersey is a haven for gamblers and pleasure seekers of all stripes from across the East Coast and the world. Stay in one of the hotels on the beach in Atlantic City and you'll be up close and personal with all the action.

    History & Transportation

Atlantic City has been a tourist mecca since its inception in the 1850s. The boardwalk, which dates all the way back to 1870, is the city's main avenue, where you can eat, shop, watch, and play. It's also the namesake for the most expensive property in the board game Monopoly, which took its inspiration from street names in Atlantic City. If you're visiting Atlantic City from the surrounding area, you'll probably want to drive in on the Atlantic City Expressway, which links Philadelphia and southern New Jersey, and goes through the downtown and marina district. From New York City, take the Garden State Parkway and then connect to the Atlantic City Expressway.

Things to Do & Best Times to Visit

Mainly interested in a beach destination? The best weather will undoubtedly be during the height of summer. If you have a more flexible schedule, try beating the crowds by showing up before Memorial Day, when hotels near the beach in Atlantic City might be offering discounts. Once you've gone for a swim, head to the boardwalk to indulge yourself with a snack, like funnel cake or fresh-cut French fries. You can also find heartier fare there, from burgers to pizza and sushi. Just make sure to wait an hour before heading back into the water!
