Nestled between Washoe Native American grinding rocks, this property is a
significant historical landmark of the village. This popular A-Frame cabin
boasts 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms with a loft! The living room offers a large
sofa with a chaise, flat screen TV, wood burning stove, two sliders leading to
the deck with views of the trees and rocks and opens up to the kitchen and
dining room. The fully equipped kitchen offers all of the cooking essentials,
plentiful plates, glassware and silverware and a breakfast bar with barstools.
The dining table has seating for six and extra chairs throughout. The master
bedroom offers a queen sized bed and a dresser. There is a bathroom in between
the bedrooms with a glass enclosed shower over tub and a large vanity. The
secondary bedroom offers twin sized bunkbeds and a queen sized bed, as well as
a Pack N Play in the closet. Upstairs there is a desk and a daybed with a
trundle in the loft, another bathroom with a stall shower and another bedroom
with a queen sized bed. Ideally located, it is only a five minute walk to the
village center where you will find options for dining, the general store and
other amenities. Ski in/ski out via Lunch Run or Home Run with a two minute
ski trip to the free shuttle to the ski resort. Nicely appointed, this cabin
makes for a great winter or summer rental. Firewood provided in winter and a
BBQ available in the summer. **Please note, during winter, roads to the cabins
are closed to wheeled vehicles. As part of your reservation, we provide
snowmobile transportation upon your arrival and departure.

Over the Snow Transportation is required to get to this home in the winter
months due to the roads being closed. Transportation is provided and scheduled
through the Host, Bear Valley Vacation Rentals. The cost of the transportation
was included in the cost of your initial booking. During the summer months
when the road is open, you can drive to the home. The dates for which over the
snow transportation is needed may vary due to snow levels but road closures
are typically from approximately 12/1 to 5/1 annually.
Our properties always have all beds made, except for the top bunk of bunk
beds, where the linens are provided for guests to make themselves. If the
guest exceeds the number of beds available, there will be an additional charge
$35 per guest and we will need to be notified in advance to ensure proper
accommodations.
