The restaurant did not serve breakfast. They offered a buffet for 17.00 which is way over priced.

Location can not be beat. Room and pool were nice. Everything for us was great. Just wish the food cost and choice was better. Pizza was the deal, but the restaurant was overpriced for regular families. Maybe add some subs to the.pizza place with similar price points and it would have been perfect.

There were no paper towels in our room, only 1 spoon, and no bath mat for outside our shower. All in all, pleased with the facility.

Yosemite View Lodge is a 335-room hotel situated next to the Merced River just down the hill from the Highway 140 entrance to Yosemite National Park. It is the closest hotel to Yosemite Valley that is outside the Park boundaries. Their property amenities include a gift shop, convenience store, restaurant & lounge, pizza parlor, and both indoor and outdoor pools and spas. The YARTS public bus also stops here in route to Yosemite Valley. This is a sprawling property with multiple buildings, none of which have interior corridors. We were in Building E (named “Sequoia”), which is next to the Merced River. We loved watching and listening to the river from our balcony as we sipped our morning coffee. Our double queen room had plenty of space, comfortable beds, flat screen TV, and several nice touches including a spa tub, microwave, refrigerator and kitchenette. Everything in the room (lights, air conditioning, plumbing, etc.) worked as it was supposed to. The one room amenity that was not provided was hand lotion, so keep that in mind if you plan on staying here. Our only disappointment during our two-night stay was that the Wi-Fi was not complimentary and was limited to two devices per room, which is thoroughly inadequate for the modern family. The rates at the Yosemite View Lodge are higher than those at comparable properties in towns like Mariposa and Oakhurst, but you are paying for the added convenience of the location – it’s only about 25-30 minutes to the Valley.
