"We recently returned from our first trip to Jamaica. Ocean Eden is a beautiful resort and the staff was pleasant upon our arrival. Our room key was a bracelet with a little fob that we wore for the entire stay - great for someone like me who constantly loses the key card at hotels. The bracelet also served as the way to lock/unlock the safe in the room. The room itself was very clean and spacious; I loved the fact that it faced the entire property: the ocean to the left, the pool in the middle, and the hills to the right. the housekeeping team did an excellent job with daily service. The room was always clean and the bed made up perfectly. The team restocking the minibar daily was also great (the plantation chips are so good) and made sure that we had enough bottled water to drink each day. The Marlin was our most frequented restaurant (I was in love with the octopus cocktail) and we went to the Captain’s Market for the buffet often (so many options!) I liked the fact that we could walk over next door to kid-friendly Ocean Coral (but Coral could not visit us in Ocean Eden) and experience the food options on that side. Route 66 had great milkshakes while my partner had amazing oxtail and Jamaican jerk at Sugar Cane. There were also snack bars near the beach and the pool. Both the beach and pool were relaxing but we noticed that the beach chairs filled up quickly in the morning while there was more availability at the pool. I also liked the vibe at the pool with the music. "

"Starting from the receptionist…very nice & informative! The staff overall were super friendly & helpful. Every single day, didn’t matter the time, they were there to help. The rooms were clean & filled with utilities, from plates to cups to water bottles and milk. If you needed extra, they assisted & provided you with anything and everything. Even without asking you, they made sure you had things! Just would like to shout out our nanny Kerina that was assigned to us. She was always with a smile & very helpful. Even though our kids were so glued on to us, Kerina was around to help out. I would also like to shout out the manager (I forgot her name), she was so kind to take me to the supermarket to buy my baby formula. Overall, I had a great time and experience at the FDR. Would highly recommend if you have kids. "

"Loved the vegetable gardens, the friendly staff and our spacious clean room with our very private balcony. Good food and lovely grounds as well as seeing the resident peacock at meals made our stay very special. So happy not to be at one of those 5star all inclusives."

"Yes the Staff was courteous and the room clen , Pool was not kept in pristine condition. Food was cooked perfectly. Staff on an overall was accommodating- There was no Internet Service before I got there and Service returned only on the night before I was leaving. I had to cut my Vacation short due to this inconvenience, and there was no monetary Compensation for my inconvenience due to no fault of mine. I am very disappointed as I have made several Trips to this here before."
