"The beach stinks, the building is overlooking a Marina which sticks so bad we could not sit out on the balcony. You can also smell it from the pool. Staff service was inconsistent, some were helpful some were rude. Spa and other similar services were double cost compared to other comparable resorts. The only plus is that the food was very good"

"The property itself is pretty and clean. The food is mostly inedible, we struggled to find something that wasn’t low grade cafeteria food everyday. The restaurants had food the same as the buffet- both VERY low quality food. There is no room service options, only 2 sheets on the beds-no blankets. We called and asked for a blanket and it never arrived. We called the next day and requested it, finally hours later after 4 calls requesting it, they brought us a blanket. The alcohol is all off brand, they can’t make mixed drinks (only beer or wine) in the buffet and restaurants. The bartenders themselves were so great but the supplies they were working with was low quality. The “resort credits” offered when you book is a complete scam. The “credits” are actually just a $10-$15 off coupon for a specific $210 massage or $75 pedicure and can only be used once. The “credits” are really a few coupons for overpriced services and essentially false advertisement. The overall “vibe” of the resort is a lower quality resort for young adults (lots of 18 -20 year olds) that are beyond drunk, we also saw several physical fights between guests, overall making it very low grade compared to other resorts (we have previously stayed at Barcelo in Riviera Maya) and LOVED it. The only positive of the resort was its close proximity to Isla Mujeres. We took the ferry to it 2 days for real food and a much better beach and service. The water exercise class was also fun and the instructors were great!"

"Great locations; staff always helpful. Amenities, food quality - excellent and consistent! Many staff members deserve honorable mention; Daniel, Victor, Sergio - bar tenders. Lizo's staff - front desk and waiters - made my birthday dinner VERY special. Brass restaurant - ALWAYS busy, but staff would not let you notice the stress that is placed on them by always overbooked schedule. Spa staff - wonderful; estheticians and and valet staff. Housekeeping - VERY attentive. Nothing but great experience!"
