How to get through airport security fast when traveling to Grand Canyon Village
If you like the idea of spending more time at the airport restaurants and less time navigating your way through security on your way to Grand Canyon Village, just follow these suggestions:

  • Security personnel will expect to see your travel ID and boarding pass upon arrival. Tuck them away in a convenient place, so they’re ready for inspection.
  • It’s helpful to know that metal belt buckles can set off the body scanner’s alarms. If you’re wearing one, you may be asked to step back and remove it before proceeding.
  • Digital cameras, laptops and other electronic devices must be placed in separate trays to be X-rayed.
