Yes the park was near by which was very nice since it was our first time at the park, everything was near by and easy to get around.. The room was clean and comfortable. The pillows had a old mildew smell and we could not get the Keurig to work, we bought coffee at the market and the lady employee was very rudely.. We had dinner at the restaurant and Trejo was very helpful and very polite…

The room itself is nothing special but the location was perfect. Walking distance to the rim. When we first got to our room there were two elk right out the window! Great welcome!

Mule deer were just feet from our door. We had the pleasure of witnessing a bull elk bugle for 5 minutes before going over a hill. We plan to come back. Lodge was great.

A moderately priced room inside the Grand Canyon park. Easy to take the shuttle or go to the dining hall or general store. Like a lot of National parks, could use updating but keeps pice lower.

The room was clean (as it should be). The Heat/AC kept the room very comfortable (as it should). Our room was on the end, ground level, so it was close to the parking area, very convenient. Enjoyed our stay (just as expected). Everything was perfect.

Right on the shuttle route and/or an easy very walkable path directly to the Rim Trail so excellent location for access to the Canyon. Other than that, the accommodations are like a roadside, kind of rundown motel. They have a very efficient restaurant/bar area so easy to get food but it’s not anything special, but decent. Very busy and lots of tourists; and we were there is Sept so not peak season. If you want fancy and more updated, look to the Village hotels. If you just want a place to sleep and easy food, this will do.
