We arrived on Sunday 9/20/20 - leave 9/21920 we pre-paid-they put a 75 deposit ok that's fine. We head to our room walk in & the first thing my husband notices stains On top layer of the bed sheets. I go To the bathroom & the toilet plus floor is dirty. We call downstairs tell front desk we ask for another room due to this. They said no you need to leave the room and we will clean it. The kind gentleman arrives & looks he apologies says "they have been having complaints of this due to being so busy" NOT OK ESPECIALLY During THIS TIME "covid" or anytime. We are outside waiting for the room to be cleaned & go to get water out of the vending machine it's out of service so we walk to the next vending machine. Finally room is ready. Now that it's past 8:40 we can't eat because the restaurant closes. We had been traveling from Civana wellness through Sedona then Grand Canyon to watch sunset arrive to check in & this happens hence us needing Food and showers before to celebrate our Anniversary. Extremely disappointed we decided to sleep & leave at 5 AM in the morning. I go to check out & the front desk says you don't have to do anything to check out you've prepaid. Not a thank for your stay nothing. Well the next day I see another 75 pending charge for what!? Now two 75 pending charges. Confused!? So I wait til we are back in LA call on a Wednesday Ron says they are pending & you are staying two days he argued with me about this. I know how many days I purchased! Not ok!

ALL HOTELS I FEEL THE SAME VENTILATION IS AN ISSUE... ROOMS NEED ABILITY FOR OUTSIDE SIDE AIR TO MOVE FREELY THROUGHOUT HOTEL AND ALL ROOMS...also equipment used in hallways need to be professional disinfected AKA air drying fans for hallway carpets.

Nice looking property, great location, friendly and accommodating staff. There were a few hairs in the bath tub when we arrived, but otherwise it was a clean property. The mattresses were pretty standard though and not nearly as comfortable as our normal memory foam. The on - site restaurant served good food (but relatively expensive for what we're used to... $30-50ish for a steak a la cart with no sides, $12 for a side of asparagus, $4 for a dr drink etc). The indoor pool looked nice but we didn't get a chance to enjoy it because we were at the canyon most of the time. Overall, it was a nice facility though!

The property itself looked just like it did in the pictures. My only complaint was that the staff was not very friendly at all. I wish there were more things to do in Tusayan, but overall, our trip to the Grand Canyon was a memorable trip and the Grand Hotel is beautiful.

The lobby was western and beautifully decorated . It felt like a log cabin. The room was spacious and i loved having a balcony. Although it was cold sonwe couldn't use it as much as i would have liked. The restaurant attached was good, although a bit expensive! Very close to the entrance to the Grand Canyon

The lobby is very nice and welcoming. The pool cholorine level was so strong I noticed it as soon as I entered the lobby and looked forward to leaving that area. The 16.95, ultimately +42.00 breakfast for two, was poor. Crepes filled was a cheese goo, bacon was ultra greasy, orange juice was heavily diluted. REALLY disappointing. Room 306 The waterproof bedding was noisy but I didn't want to remove it. The mattresses are not supportive, dipped in middle. The bathroom flooring needs scrubbed. Damage to the drywall next to the tub - reported after move-in so they would know it was pre-existing. They asked if I needed it repaired and told them 'no' as it would not affect the stay. I hope they have reported it so it is fixed for the next guest. The bathroom has very nice space and granite. The stainless steal fixtures need to be cleaned and polished - the kleenex cover was spotted badly. Those details would have helped to make the bathroom feel clean and welcoming. The coffee maker in the room takes a very long time to produce a single cup of coffee. The next stop was the Best Western-Coral Hills in St George. The breakfast provided was fresh, including bananas, apples, oranges, new machines for self serve yougart, toppings, a waffle maker, cereal choices, breads, muffins, juices, hot eggs and sausage, with thin crepes with great flavor - and it was INCLUDED with the room price. Their bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was spotless - top to bottom.
