The staff was so friendly and spend time answering our questions. The cabins were nice and the view was incredible. There are three restaurants in walking distance. We went in mid November and the rates were great. Weather was nice especially when hiking down into the canyon. It was nice to wake up and seeing the sunrise over the canyon by just walking out the door.

We stayed in one of the cabins with a private bath. Room was very clean and although small, we had a couple of windows and plenty of room for our stay. Bed was acceptable. But the big draw is that we were just 50 steps from the south rim of the Canyon, and not many more steps from Bright Angel dining and shopping options. Love the Grand Canyon and would stay here again for sure!

This lodge was excellent! Our stay was in late September. The nights were in the 50s. We were able to sleep comfortably with the windows open. There is no AC. I would not want to stay here during the summer months. We hiked the Bright Angel trail so we were very close.

A gorgeous location and pleasant enough stay but sadly didn’t quite hit expectation. Some of the staff we encountered appeared either tired or fed up and not overly bothered about valuing their clients. Not necessarily the fault of those on the restaurant front line, but it was clear there weren’t enough staff on duty and service and at times attitude was not to a standard we’d hope for when on vacation - especially in such a beautiful place.

The location on the south rim couldn’t have been better, we were literally steps away. The room was great, staff are great, and the location to lodge, restaurants and shuttle buses are also great as well. I recommend staying here all the time when visiting the national park.
