The staff were incredible, the view of Ueno Park and the city was stunning (especially at night). Super convenient location. So many spots were walkable from there. I wish the bed had been more firm but that's because I'm accustomed to western style hotel beds.

Great location just a few minutes walk from Ueno Station. Room with view of the lake was lovely. Restaurant/breakfast service was good with enough variety to satisfy everyone. Friendly and efficient staff.

Was a nice comfortable hotel, room was small, but as expected. TV in room was very nice, able to use all my smart apps on it like Netflix. Things I didn't like: - only 2 elevators for whole hotel, stairs are only for emergency use, can take a few tries with bags to get on an elevator so be sure to plan for that. - breakfast buffet wasn’t for me, while they list it as being a mix of both asian and western dishes, most items were for the asian palate, and the restaurant is very small, so it fills up quickly, needed up only eating there once, and skipping the rest of my vouchers.

The room was very small for two people, but it was clean and convenient enough. The staff was really great and the fact that they keep your bags for a day before check in or after check out, is a plus. Also located in front of the station and very close to shopping and restaurants.

Best place to stay for Cherry Blossom season!!! Stations are literally across the small quiet street. Food and shopping is everywhere within walking distance! Never thought to stay in this neighborhood and it’s so refreshing because it’s still very lively but not crazy packed like Shinjuku and Shibuya. You can easily visit any places via subways or an uber ride but subway is way cheaper
