Forget It

Despite not being able to make the trip because I was planning an unexpected funeral, and having stayed there many times for lacrosse tournaments over the past 20 years, this hotel would not honor a refund when our family was not able to make the trip. Hotels.com informed me that they canceled the room ahead of time, but they only canceled one room, not both, so one of the nights looked like I was a no-show, which is not the case. This is not the hotel's busy season. One would think they would not want to lose a long-time customer over $200. Whatever the rules are, they should have been more understanding.

Hotel Suites and Spa in Holyoke! 5 minute drive to Northampton Colleges and The Staff and Grounds are The Best, including sumptuous complimentary Full Breakfast - best in The Pioneer Valley!! My room was clean, bright ( a.m. sun!), comfortable, and quiet (on backside, overlooking parking lot). I love that there were no carpets and the bathroom was spotless. Hot tub was a treat after long car ride, but Jim at the front desk gets the prize for his courtesy, engagement, hospitality, and desire to bring me joy! I'll definitely be back...hopefully to room #416!
