If you are looking for a quiet island beach community that offers alot to do, then you've come to the right place.
This one bedroom, one bath, first floor condo offers a comfortable king size bed, Smart tv’s in both the bedroom and living room. There is a queen size sofa bed in the living room to accomodate family or guests.
The kitchen is fully stocked and a private patio is ready for a cozy afternoon cocktail after a beautiful day at the beach.
Amenities include linens, towels, beach chairs, umbrella, cooler and a beach cart to make your trip to the beach easy and convenient.
Lido beach is a short 1 block walk from the condo and has been selected as one of the best beaches to visit in Sarasota Florida.
If you enjoy kayaking, you can rent kayaks just 2 blocks from the condo where you can kayak on your own or join a tour of the mangroves and see the beautiful Sarasota bay.
If you like biking, you can rent bikes close by as well.
For the fisherman, there are docks close by near the Mote Marine Aquarium or visit the park at the south end of the island. Fishing the jetty off of the beach is fun too.
For the golfer, there are many golf courses available for golfers of all levels of play. Most all courses offer clubs to rent for reasonable costs too.
St. Armands circle, a short and beautiful 10 minute walk away, offers upscale restaurants and shopping as well as piano bars dancing and entertainment.

In all my travels this condo was by far the best place my husband and I have ever stayed. The condo and the amenities were superb, not to mention there were beach towels, beach bag, beach chairs and umbrella. The host was very nice and responded to all my questions prior to our stay. The condo was clean and to utter perfection. The condo also provided a covered parking spot which was very helpful. The location was prime! My husband and I walked to the beach everyday. St Armand’s Circle is right down the street within walking distance, or the option to select the free parking closer to the circle. We had such a wonderful stay and will rent this condo upon every visit in the future.

Sue was very easy to work with. We arrived late and she communicated with us right away. We loved the short walk to the beach and Armand Circle. Sue provided everything we needed for a great experience. The only I might tell people who aren’t familiar with area is there isn’t a grocery or liquor store once you get to Lido. But now we know and will go, we didn’t want to leave.

Nice place but to have to buy Kleenex as there were 4 left in a box and toilet paper we have never had to do. It’s those small things that do make a difference. We also were unable to use the tv. It was nice but just ok

This was our first time staying at this condo and at Lido Beach - it was a fantastic week. The condo was perfect for the two of us - well-equipped, cozy, full kitchen, great bed, a small outdoor sitting area to soak up sun, and beach chairs to take to gorgeous Lido Beach, only a block away. The beach front itself is occupied by upscale resorts and high-rise apartments, but the beach wasn't crowded - beautiful wide white sand leading to calm gulf waters, with beautiful sunsets. The whole area was peaceful and prosperous - all of Lido Key, St. Armand's Key (where you come onto these Sarasota keys from the mainland), and Longboat Key to the north. Famous St. Armand's Circle is less than 1/2 mile from the condo, with busy shops and top-notch restaurants - an easy walk. We rented bikes there to ride the lovely neighborhood. 3 blocks south from the condo is Ted Sperling Nature Park, an impressive natural area of palm, Sea Grape, and mangrove with its own beach and kayaks for rent to paddle amazing channels through the mangrove and see herons, egrets, pelicans, and jumping fish. While most of the restaurants are in St. Armand's, the Lido Beach Resort (just a block from the condo) had an outstanding restaurant - "Drift" - and a coffee and breakfast bar off the lobby. A block away there's a public pavilion with sandwiches, a bar, a pool (closed in winter) and direct access to the beach. We had a such a great time, we didn't go back to the mainland all week. Recommended.

Wonderful location just a short walk to the public beach and public, heated pool. Also right down the street from the trolley pickup which made it super convenient to visit without a car. The public park one stop south on the trolley was wonderful for watching the sunset or sunrise and for shell searching. The condo was perfectly stocked with essential and having a wagon and beach chairs was amazingly convenient and made our stay even better. The condo is clean and spacious and just all around lovey. I cannot wait to come back in the future - I would pick Lido Key over Siesta Key any day!

My stay at Chasing Sunshine was wonderful. The condo is close to the beach, very clean and well kept. Communication with the host was perfect. I took a vacation by myself and thoroughly enjoyed it.
