I loved the bay view rooms, which were quiet and had a nice view to marina and boats docked. Also liked the restaurant on site and the people were very friendly at the Dana.

Check in process was super smooth and easy. The hotel room was nice, it had a great view of the marina. The only issue that I had was i got charged for parking without being asked and also I didn’t have a car with me. But I called a few days later and got refunded immediately for the parking. So overall I would rate it a 5/5 beautiful hotel right on the water would definitely recommend!

Wonderful stay at The Dana

The Dana is a must go to for anyone staying in San Diego. It was clean, quite and all-around beautiful property. Even though the weather was cool we were able to enjoy our balcony and the lovely view. The room itself was very clean, bright and we have absolutely nothing bad to say about it. We will definitely make this our go to when in San Diego.

Property is on a great location. Dana offers great activities. including night swimming until 10 pm. Firefly restaurant sucks but the poolbar on the second pool i highly recommend 👌. We stayed for 2 nights 3 days. very friendly and accommodating staffs. Parking for guests is worth it because Parking is hard to come by since it next to Belmont part, mission beach and sea world. Especially in the weekend's your not the only people from out of town that visit San Diego. We really didn't stay on the dana hotel as much since we had only 3 days to see what san diego had to offer. But we did enjoy the night activities like movie dive after sea world. Wouldnt recommend to eat at firefly restaurant, its overpriced and biased.

Wedding Season

We were in town for a family gathering. The first night we had a major issue with noise due a wedding reception happening right outside of our room. The manager was very accommodating and moved us to a new room for our remaining nights and it was much better. Overall a good location and we would stay there again.

It is an older resort that needs an update in the rooms especially the showers. The beds were comfortable and the grounds were very nice. Staff was helpfull and friendly. Just needs an update.

We loved staying at the Dana! We have decided that the next time we’re in San Diego, we will stay again! It is a beautiful property. The restaurant is so good and so are the pools. Every day we had an excellent experience with the staff and the cleanliness of the rooms. We loved that they turned over the room every morning and we had a freshly made bed to sleep in every night. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience!
