They were nicely updated, the beds very comfortable, and the staff extremely accommodating. I would say, notify them ahead if you are gluten free. They only offered one cereal option as a GF item on their continental breakfast lineup. That being said, the breakfast choices were many and no one left hungry. There was fresh fruit to take for a snack during the day. We checked in early so didn't have any difficulty making reservations for the outdoor hot tub one night or indoor hot tub and sauna the next night. We appreciated how centrally located it was. And it was an inexpensive option for staying a couple nights to go to the Mount Princeton Hot Springs. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay cation checking out the cool little town of Salida and would definitely stay at Silver Ridge Lodge again."
