"If you stay there, make sure you get the access code to the room along with the actual key they give up. There is no way to contact the managers outside the times the motel office is closed. Because I had only the physical key and forgot it before going out, I had to stay in my car all night because this happened 20 minutes after the office closed for the night. I left voicemail, a text message, and two messages through the Expedia message feature. None of those attempts worked. Salida is a nice town so I didn't worry much about my safety but not having anyway to get in touch with managers to get into my unit was unacceptable. It ruined the day I had planned! The property shows the wear of its age but it was clean and well maintained. I did have a few ants and a fly or two. There is road noise and vibrations from Hwy 50."

"The staff was very accommodating.The room itself was very cute.Excellent views of the mountains. Family enjoyed the decor. It says continental breakfast, but I would definitely call it an upgraded or deluxe.Continental breakfast with pancakes, waffles, eggs, sausage. The dry sauna was an added bonus"

"Though the rooms were clean we had no soap or cups. When we asked for soap she went and got the hand soap from the club house bathroom. We got three paper cups for three days. In all beautiful views but bring your own supplies. If you plan on checking in late make sure they send you the text to get into your room. Hot tub out of order."
