We did not take advantage of the hot tub. Everything was fine. We would stay again. The only quibble is that the lodge is actually about 7 or 8 miles west of South Fork--half way between town and the Wolf Creek ski resort. We just assumed it would be in town. But, as I said, just a quibble. Beautiful country--especially in autumn. Cool, crisp air and golden Aspens. Where is John Denver when you need him?

Beds were very comfortable, facilities were clean and the room was spotless. It was nice having a kitchen to save a few bucks on eating out. Overall it was a great stay and would have no problem staying here again if our travels take us thru the area.

Good value stay. Room was large and clean. Beds were comfortable but on the soft side. Ceiling fan worked effectively. So I’d say the room was rustic and the cabin unit more upto date than the run down surroundings.

My New Favorite Place!

Wow! My husband and I kept telling each other that this was the best place we stayed our whole trip (from Wisconsin to Arizona and back). The room was sparkling clean and in great condition. The pictures do not do it justice! We appreciated and utilized the grill and everything in the kitchen. My daughter enjoyed the playground area, though I noticed there was a little wear and tear that might need to be addressed. It’s clear they just planted some new trees there for shade, so those will be wonderful when they grow and fill out! Because this is a ski lodge, there is no AC, but the room was cool and the ceiling fan was nice. We’re already hoping to return in the future when we pass through the mountains again.

This was a perfect location to do things in several different directions, Pagosa Springs, South Fork, Creede, and Great Sand Dunes Nat. Park were all easy trips. The room was super clean and comfortable, with large-screen tv, easy access to river. So pretty. Will definitely return.

This is our second stay here on our way to Denver. The person( lm sorry I forgot her name) was so kind and could not do enough for us. Such a casual and friendly place. The room was clean,the bed very comfortable. The kitchen is fully equipped and gas grill outside the back door is so nice to have. The river is a 1 minute walk and very beautiful. Thank you

The room is clean, and trimmed in ble streak pine. Very nicely done. The proprietor put a lot into this to give it great character. Wolf Creek runs adjacent to the property, and you can fish, if you care to. The surroundings are beautiful.
