Perfect location you can walk to the louvre you’re trying to do that are super clean. The staff is very helpful and attentive no problem with the language barrier. Would definitely stay here again enjoy the breakfast buffet.

The staff were very accommodating and helpful. Check-in was timely and our room was spacious and ready for us. As well the hotel was conveniently located in a lovely area of the city. A few little things that could improve. Cleanliness of carpets in hallways, availability of washcloths for bathing. (Cannot reach dispenser if you are sitting in the tub?!) And we were unable to get additional tissues in our room for the duration of our stay. It is always the little things that make a place excellent and the Melia could be that with attention to some details.

Would I say go again…?

Check in was great until we went to the bar. Drinks were tasteless and weak for 18 euro a piece. Question whether the ingredients were correct unlikely measured. Bathroom is tired. Heating extremely high and a major issue. Bearing in mind we visited just before Christmas and all windows needed to be opened to breathe and sleep. Asked for a quiet room, received a room next to the elevator. Felt like you were in the midst of Charing Cross station including all hours at night. Tea is the room was limited to green, peppermint and camomile. Apparently they don’t have black or earl grey. The location is excellent. One evening all bar and lounge access was not permitted for guests who did not belong to an event. Guests were told to go elsewhere. At check out, I asked for a taxi to be called. Told to download the uber app! Eventually one taxi was procured after a complaint. Obviously a case of, you are leaving so why should I bother!
