My first impression was not very good. I stayed at that area in a different hotel before which was very clean. The new hotel remained me of my first stay with my wife in Paris 50 years ago. At the New Hotel, when I arrived they gave me a very small room under the roof. Even I made a reservation for a superior room. After talking to the receptionist he gave me a nicer room, but still under the roof. No Balcony as in the description when I booked the room. But this room had a small window with a very nice view, and a large bathtub. Also I have to say the room was clean. You do need to watch out what kind of room they give you. If i will stay there on my next visit to Paris I have to say no even the people at the hotel are extremely nice.

I booked this hotel without having knowledge of my wife booking a different hotel, which I discovered 10 minutes after making the booking. I instantly emailed them to request them to cancel my booking and initially they ignored my email for days until I chased and chased them up. The response was, as per policy you will not receive a full refund. I informed them of my mistake and that it was minutes between booking and cancelling, therefore I assumed some discretion could be applied as the room could have gone back on sale immediately with no loss to the hotel. I would have understood totally if I wanted to cancel weeks or months after. I was met with corporate reasoning and they wouldn’t cancel the room with full any form of refund or understanding of my situation. Thanks

Old with some damage to room walls. While initial bedding was clean we asked for additional pillows and the ones we were given all contained huge patches of yellow staining and did not have pillow cases so were not usable.

After a long day travelling we checked in and surprisingly were told our room was in their sister hotel just around the corner. The sister hotel is The Richmond Hotel. Hotel very basic but had everything we needed. Good aircon and great location. We also were permitted to leave our luggage after check out to pick up later that day.

The staff were friendly and helpful. This hotel is fine for one night. Directly across from the train station so easy if you are traveling by train. Would not recommend for a solo female traveler due to the area of town. Very loud street noise.

It was quite an amazing spot to stay for a couple of shows at Stade de France, Gard du Nord station is right where the subway is so moving around is super smooth, hotel room was super good to stay comfy beds and nice bathrooms.
