they show you a picture on the internet but they change you to a different place. floor in bedroom was dirty, television was not working and ac was not working. terrible experience and would not recomend anyone to go there. The only good thing is the location was a good location but needs cleaning and some staff needs to be better and polite

Family holiday

Our family of 5 came for 4 nights to include the prix de l'arc de triomphe horse racing on the sunday. We came on the eurostar so this hotel is just over the road from the gare du nord train station. Check in was quick and efficient. A lovely old parisienne hotel with windy stairs and a small lift. The room is clean, a comfy bed, tv, hairdryer and safe , unfortunately no kettle! Although there is a kettle in the alcove past the reception area with tea and coffee. Breakfast is very basic if you want it. Consisting of different breads, jams, yoghurt and cake and cheese. I have stopped in this hotel 5 times now and didnt have the breakfast this time, instead we went out to have it. The staff are friendly and helpful. The area around the hotel is excellent. Lots of bars and restaurants to choose from in a very lively area. I love the hotel and will continue to use it

I was pleasantly surprised for a two star Paris hotel. It seems to have been modernised and the room was clean and comfortable. Major plus is the location opposite Gare du Nord. Very good breakfast in a small but castle like atmosphere in the cellar. Only difficulty was that the lift opened onto the staircase rather than the landing - a problem with heavy cases.

It was right near Gard De Norde station which was idea for us. Nice room with good bed and shower. Negative side was tgat o asked twice for another pillow (due to my asthma). On both occasions the reception staff said they would supply me with one but neither did. This I found disappointing as everything else was good with this hotel.

This is a classic old hotel that charges a lot of money for a below average room. It was fine for me as a single traveler wanting a convenient room near the train depot, but the facilities weren’t for a tourist sightseeing in Paris for a couple of days.

I reserved at last minute at new hotel gare du nord across from Eurostar station due to train cancellation late at night…area is seedy…I checked in at hotel and they sent me around the corner to a sister property named Hotel Richmond…rooms are dark and need updating…rooms were clean…as two women checking in I felt I needed to prop chair against door…I texted my kids to let them know where I was staying in case I suddenly disappeared…maybe I watch too many crime shows but this is the vibe I got in this hotel…managers at both properties were very helpful with questions I had…would not stay again unless I were in a bind like I was due to train cancelled…hotel Richmond reminded me of one of those short stay places where women of the night bring customers…

The hotel is very conveniently located just opposite Gare du Nord Station. My room was tidy, and all of the staff that I spoke to were polite. However, there was an extra charge for breakfast. As I paid quite alot of money for my room, I don't think that's right. It was also far too expensive at twelve euros. Also no tea or coffee making facilities in the rooms. Again for the money they charge that's wrong.
