An older hotel that is a little worn but still very enjoyable becp for surprises. For us, we enjoyed our stay very much. Full 1 bedroom w/kitchenette, private patio free parking. No resort fee, away from the hustle bustle

We have stayed here several times over the past 10 years and enjoy the price point and beach access and the pool. Parking is always nice and easy. The quality is starting to lack in the rooms they are in need of an update. Carpets look worn, Furniture is in bad condition, the blinds are cracked or missing and we were even missing the holder for the toilet paper. The elevators are pretty bad as well, the lingering bad smell in both seems to be trapped due to the cloth and wood paneling that was added.

The staff was very helpful and nice. The room was clean. Plenty of parking. The only thing we didn't like was the air conditioning. I like a cold room at night. The ac kept cycling on and off every two minutes and was loud. If my husband complains the room is too warm...then it's warm....lol

We booked a Gulf-front room expecting direct access to the beach, but unfortunately, that wasn't the case—and it wasn’t clearly stated in the description. The rooms felt outdated.

The freezer portion of our fridge didn’t work, there seemed to be mold on our lamp shade, and there were multiple bugs (ladybugs, spiders, roaches) that ended up crawling on our bed. Other than that our stay was good!

Did not get checked in til after 5pm because they said the rooms weren't avaliable yet even though they said we could check in at 4pm. They never had clean wash rags. They always said they had to wait on laundry. Their towels and wash rags were very rough. They need to use fabric softener. They need new plug ins. Anything you plugged in was extremely loose and fell out. They need higher wattage light bulbs throughout the rooms. It felt like you was taking a shower in the dark. The hotel needs a serious upgrade. Other than that the view from our room was amazing.

Pros : liked that it had a seperate room and a gorgeous view from the balcony also the bed was comfy and I like that the refrigerator operated perfect and the convience of the beach being so close by Cons: I found hair that wasn’t ours in the place. The parking is terrible had to use a spotter just to back out. And really the main thing was the shower it is a small standup shower with no light to see the bathroom had a light but there was a wall blocking it so it was hard to see taking a shower and the water pressure was more like non existent

The hotel’s online appearance is very misleading. In reality, it is extremely outdated and in need of significant renovations, especially considering it is the oldest hotel in the area. Our experience was far from ideal—our original room flooded after only a small amount of rain, which forced us to relocate. This was a major inconvenience and disrupted our stay. It's disappointing that such issues exist, especially given the expectations set by the photos and descriptions online. A thorough update and more accurate representation of the property are definitely needed.

The view is everything - and I chose the hotel knowing it was old and dated. However, old and dated does not have to equal dirty. The hallways are dirty - the walls, stairwells, and the front is very unkept. We stayed the night not to lose our money; but checked out early. The staff was very nice and accommodating - but I just couldn’t with the dirty environment. 😞 management needs to invest in paint and paint the walls and keep the place in the outside looking clean.
