We stayed in this unit for six nights with our two kids, ages 4 and 8. The condo building, as expected, was older, we were disappointed to find the advertised amenities like the coffee/ice cream shop, arcade, & restaurant were not open. The gym had minimal equipment, and the parking pass policy was changed without notice to per car instead of per unit. While most pools were heated to 78°, the kids was freezing. In our specific unit, the air conditioner was not working. Four Star was good at communicating and provided fans since the back room had no airflow. The issue was not resolved during our stay. It wasn’t super hot out, so we could open the doors, but there were no screens on the sliding doors, so we had some birds visit our room. Between air conditioning repairs, water heater repairs, housekeeping showing up on the wrong day as well as on the day of checkout, the keypad code changed an hour before the check out time, almost locking us out without our luggage. All minor inconveniences but added up to not make the most relaxing stay. We did notify Four Star, but we received no compensation for the inconveniences. I understand things happen that are out of anyone’s control but we were more disappointed by the advertised amenities that were not open those were big reasons we booked this location.
