I would describe Tryp Orlando by Wyndham as good enough to serve as a place to sleep, and as long as you don't look too deeply at the room's condition & amenities, you'll believe the modern Tryp facade.
*The lobby & breakfast area were clean and both had a fresh, clean scent.
*The staff were nice enough, nothing special to note but nothing negative to mention either.
*With a vehicle, the location is great for restaurants, SeaWorld & Disney Parks. However, if you're Ubering & hoping to walk to various restaurants nearby, this isn't the location.
*The room was clean & cool enough, with the appearance of being modern yet the feel of being half cared for.
*Showerhead was dirty with scummy buildup, water from the shower & bathroom sink smelled really bad, maybe the hotel has hard water...? That might explain the smell & the buildup on the showerhead, but come on, clean the showerhead.
*One nightstand outlet was broken.
*The TV was unusually small for the wall. It looks like whoever designed the decor tried to compensate by placing a really large, dark backdrop art behind the TV to trick the eye into not noticing how small the TV is for the wall.
*If you're assigned a room with neon lights on the outside windows, ask to move unless you're ok sleeping in a room that's lit up with neon lights even after the blinds are closed(see pics).
*Breakfast is $12 and not worth it. The eggs were inedible, even by continental breakfast standards.
