Great location terrible management

The house is located in a great gated community in Champions Gate. I would go there again but NOT at this house. First the pool heater was broken despite me trying to get confirmation for weeks ahead of time that it would be on and working. Also a patio and lounge chair were broken. We reported the Keurig broken and they sent us a filter coffee machine. When they dropped it off, they entered the home when my 13 old son was there alone! Our experience with Vacasa Property management was horrible. The owners of this property need to know what happened and how poorly Vacasa is managing their property. I asked for the owners to contact me directly and they never did. Overall, it was a very disappointing experience.

Very disappointing

I paid almost $300. Extra dollars for heating the pool. Called contact number 3X, after 3rd time got a return call from their local contact ,said he fixed pool heater but it never worked x coffee machine was broke, glass door blinds were half there so little privacy, garage door didn’t work so couldn’t park car in the garage. Communication was terrible! Will never use vacasa again!

Comfortable stay; lack of communication

The home was clean and comfortable. It slept 7 of us with extra room. The problem we encountered was with the poor communication with the property management. I requested early check in since our flight landed so early. Before 1pm I received a text saying the home was ready for check in. At the front gate, security had no knowledge of our arrival. At the home, the cleaning crew was still there. We weren't able to check in until almost 5pm. I received an email asking the names of the guests staying for security after we checked in, which was an extra hassle in then obtaining the parking passes. The layout of the home gave lots of space and privacy. The kitchen was adequate but there were no pans for frying eggs in the morning or basics (salt/pepper, cooking spray or oil). Overall, we were satisfied with our stay.

Pleasantly Surprised

We were totally surprised that this home was as it is pictured online. It is beautiful and totally spacious. The walls could use a bit of a touch up paint but it seemed to be typical wear and tear but will continue to worsen without some attention. We were also pleasantly surprised that they had everything in the kitchen required for cooking and feeding 8 people which included 4 kids under 12. Wonderful refrigerator! There were a couple of items which we had to contact the management team to take care of and they did come without a lot of delay. That process was painless and we were grateful for their attention to our requests. One pet peeve that I found that needs to be addressed is the lack of hangers in the entire house. That was inconvenient to have to fold all of our clothing that should have been hung up. Some of the comforters on the beds needed changing as they were too small for the size of the bed. The bathroom towels are a bit thread barren and should be replaced. The bathrooms especially the master bath upstairs was super spacious. It was really nice having a garage for our vehicle. The game room at the community center was enough for the family along with the water amenities. The pool was small but adequate for the kiddies to play in plus we had the community pool and game room. The air conditioner worked wonderfully well. I forgot to call the management team and ask them to look at the lock for the patio door. After the lock is placed in the "locked" position you can still open the door. If you pull on the door a couple of times, it simply opens right up even with the lock in the locked position. We had been locking the patio door each night and assuming that it was securely locked. Only after double checking the locks during the night on our last night did we realize it would not stay securely locked. We didn't want to think about the previous nights of the door not being securely locked. So, please check on that for your future guests. Our family loved the house and we would rent it again. Thank you again for everything.

The house is filthy!!! For the the price they real need a better cleaning company, the vertical blind are broken, it was no household goods available trash bags, detergent etc!!!

Great place

Easy check in. We had the pool heated and it was great. Easy access to the Oasis Club. House had start up supplies such as toilet paper, paper towels, dish detergent, plastic bags for trash. Had plenty of dishes and cutlery, bowls, pots and pans. Need to upgrade knives which are really bad and the Wi-Fi is very iffy. As soon as you walk out the slider you don’t have Wi-Fi. Bedroom’s upstairs was not good if any. Other than that the house was perfect for us. We had 10 of us and we were very comfortable! Thanks for a great stay!
